Research Center

DMI has created its own Research Center, yielding a quality leap in the development of its products and rendered services. The new Center has been created to carry out tests on new electrical insulation concepts through trial impregnations and aging tests.

All tests are based on international standard practices, such as IEEE 1043 (Recommended Practice for Voltage - Endurance Testing of form-wound Bars and Coils) and IEEE 1553 (Trial-use Standard for Voltage Endurance Testing of Form-wound Coils and Bars for Hydrogenerators) that evaluate and validate trial results.

DMI seeks the systematization of international sets of norms that may guide and structure all its trials in order to consolidate products and guarantee their quality for end users.
