Laminates

NMN,DMD,NKN, film cylinders, laminate and aluminized paper are some of the flexible laminates manufactured by DMI. Polyester cylinders are used as tension separators in dry transformers.

Mica Tapes

Porous, resin-impregnated and conductive tapes are use don the isolation of threads, or stator bars and coils of generators. They may vary according to the mica paper thickness dimensions and different reinforcements, such as fiberglass and polyester film. Besides these applications, the resin content is as a vehicle or means of impregnation for final consolidation of bars or coils.

Prepregs

Delpormats, Nomex®, Tripreg®, NMN, DMD, Felts and Mats
Prepegs are products usually impregnated with epoxy resin at state B polymerization. They are manufactured in vertical equipment that allows an accurate determination of the polymerization stage, for subsequent reaction in the final process and achievement of mechanical reinforcement, consolidation of layers on final bandage of generators, engines and transformers. Its utilization is common in rotor poles and stator bars and coils, in which it functions as a consolidation vehicle. Besides this vital insulation function, the Prepregs are used as securing wedges due to their expanding capacity when heated and in contact with resin.

Tapes, Fillings, Pultruders and Machined products
The semi-conductive, rigid or flexible line of products was developed due to the efficiency of its application on electrical load distribution focusing on generator performance improvement.
