Segmentos
Energy Distribution
Distribution Board
- Machined - Spacing boards and barring supports are usually machined from DMP plates.
- Medium Tension Insulators - The insulators are cast with epoxy resin and occasional assembling inserts.
-
Special parts - Angles and other special parts are produced through the spray up process .
Dry Transformers
- Prepregs - Impregnated screens, films, felts and laminates.
Products manufactured in vertical equipment that allows an accurate determination of polymerization stage, focusing a subsequent reaction in final processes, providing mechanical reinforcement, and consolidation of final layers and bandages.
- Pultruders - I Beams and different formats
Used as spacers. All pultruders are offered at an “F” thermal stage with good mechanical resistance.
- Machined wedges - Made from polyester plates the machining process assures that the mechanical features of the wedge are maintained along the years.
- Cylinders -The cylinders consist of the faces of laminated polyester films subsequently conformed, which offer above 1 mm final thickness, used to isolate different tensions of transformers.
Oil Transformers
- Papers - Distribution of special paper line for the distribution segment.
- Diamond Paper - Diamanting is processed through the “kiss coat” method offering excellent final adhesion features.
- Films - Non-impregnated or impregnated.
Power Transformers
- Machined - Made from DME ( fiberglass + epoxy ) or high density wood, the machined kits are manufactured and delivered directly for equipment final assembly.
- Bandage Tape - The bandage tape manufactured by DMI is composed by special fiberglass thread and epoxy resin at a “B” stage of polymerization. After final reaction the tape becomes rigid offering high mechanical resistance for core bandaging.
- Treads and Rods - Machined from plates or pultrusion.
Semi-conductives
Tapes, Sheets, Pultruders and Machined items
There has been an ever increasing usage of rigid or flexible semi-conductive products given their contribution for the improvement of electrical load distribution in areas where total insulation is not required.
