Mica Tapes

Porous Tapes, Resin Rich and Tapes for conductors
Mica tapes are applied on the insulation of engine stator coils /electrical generators. Their structure features may vary according to different mica paper thicknesses, different fiberglass fabric, fiberglass veil and even polyester film. Besides these variables the resin content characterizes the manufacturing process for the final coil consolidation.

Plates and Machined Products

DMEs, DMPs, DMS, Conductives
DMI stamps silicone, polyester or epoxy plates. DMI’s machining sector is well-structured for machining parts from plates, tubes and molded parts in general.

Prepregs

DMPORMATS, Nomex®, Tripreg®, NMN, DMD, Felts, Mats and Tapes
Prepregs consist of impregnated raw material usually with epoxy resin at stage B of polymerization. Its application is frequent on rotor poles and stator coils functioning as a consolidation agent. Besides this vital function in the insulation process, prepregs are utilized as insulators, prepregs are utilized as securing wedges due to possible expansion when heated or in contact with resin.

Pultruders

Epoxi or semi-conductives
Pultruders are being increasingly used in serial applications replacing machined profiles, usually present in projects.
